Clog Controller Biocide is a strong algae depressant fully compatible with alkalizing and flocculating agents normally used in cooling / boiler water.  Algae growth is the main cause of colour in water.  Routine and weekly additions of RXSOL-40-4009-050 establish a buffer action to control very rapid algae growth.

Clog Controller Biocide RXSOL-40-4009-050 is a high performance non-oxidising micro-biocide that uses the latest chemical technologies for the rapid and effective treatment of cooling water systems. RXSOL-40-4009-050 is a rapid acting micro-biocide developed for use in cooling water systems and is effective against Legionella bacteria, SRB’s, algi and fungi. RXSOL-40-4009-050 will also penetrate and disperse biofilm slimes making it an ideal cooling water treatment. RXSOL-40-4009-050  has an excellent environmental profile and is readily biodegradable.

This product is recommended for use in industrial process cooling towers, air conditioning cooling systems, and evaporative condensers. It is particularly recommended for use in systems where algae growth is especially difficult to control.

For the control of microbial biofilms, bacteria, algae, and fungi, add MICRO BIOCIDE Cooling Water RXSOL-40-4009-050 to industrial recirculating water cooling towers, industrial recirculating closed loop water cooling systems, brewery pasteurizer and can warmer systems. Add MICRO BIOCIDE Cooling Water RXSOL-40-4009-050 at some point in the system to ensure uniform mixing.

INITIAL DOSE: if the system is initiating fouling then use 200 ml - 3 ltr of  MICRO BIOCIDE Cooling Water RXSOL-40-4009-050  for per 3000 to 5000 Ltr of water in the system.) Dose can be increased till optimum results.
 
WEEKLY CONTROL DOSE: When microbial control is evident, add 100 to 500 ml per MICRO BIOCIDE Cooling Water RXSOL-40-4009-050  for per 3000 to 5000 Ltr of water in the system
 
AIR WASHER SYSTEMS : Add to the air washer sump or chill water sump to insure uniform mixing, 200 ml  - 3 Ltr of MICRO BIOCIDE Cooling Water RXSOL-40-4009-050  for per 3000 to 5000 Ltr of water in the system, DOSE ration directly proportional of  contamination to control microbial biofilms, bacteria, fungi, and algae which cause fouling in industrial air washer systems.

SUBSEQUENT DOSE: When microbial control is evident, add 100 ml  - 100 ml MICRO BIOCIDE Cooling Water RXSOL-40-4009-050  per 3000 Ltr of water in the system.

Remarks:

Clog Controller Biocide RXSOL-40-4009-050 should be dosed periodically at a rate of 75 - 150 ppm of the total system volume. In a badly fouled system an initial dosage rate of up to 250m1/m3 may be required which can be reduced once control is gained.In order to comply with Health & Safety recommendations Clog Controller Biocide RXSOL-40-4009-050 should be alternated with another non-oxidising or oxidizing biocide. It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
