Product Short Description: Calcium bromide is used in two main applications -clear brine fluids in oil & gas and as an oxidizer for mercury emissions control. Product Description: Calcium Bromide Solution is primarily used as a completion fluid, stationary liquid and work over fluid. It is used to Form Brine completion and Workover Fluids. Calcium Bromide can be used with calcium chloride brines and dry calcium chloride to formulate non damaging fluids. It can be used as a packer fluid or to adjust the density of other brine systems. It provides inhibition preventing the hydration and migration of swelling clays.
