Product description

diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) is the radiopharmaceutical used for the 
evaluation of glomerular filtration function. 

Applications

 
Diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid has been used:
  • for cofilin activity assay
  • to determine the specificity of superoxide in the transverse aortic constriction (TAC) hearts
  • for Europium bead-based detection assays
  • to detect reduced (S- active) or irreversibly oxidized (SO3H inactive) tyrosine-protein phosphatase non-receptor type 6 (SHP-1) in thymocytes
 

Dosage

 
Effects of DTPA are mediated exclusively by zinc deficiency; zinc supplementation negates developmental (and other) toxicity.

DTPA (Diethylenetriamine pentaacetate) is a medicine that can bind to radioactive plutonium, americium, and curium to decrease the amount of time it takes to get radioactive plutonium, americium, and curium out of the body.
Diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid has been used:
for cofilin activity assay
