The broadly used term "lime" connotes calcium-containing inorganic materials, in which carbonates, oxides and hydroxides of calcium, silicon, magnesium, aluminium, and iron predominate. Calcium oxide that survives processing without reacting in building products such as cement is called free lime.

Water/Moisture is present in most Materials. In order to Scavenge/Absorb this Water /Moisture Innovox 95 is added as a Desiccant for Rubber Compounds & PVC Plastisols. This Absorbs Water/Moisture & Prevents Porosity, Blisters which are formed due to Water/Moisture letting steam during high Temperature Processing above Water Boiling Temp of 1000C.
