Recirculation Method – Highly Effective & Recommended Tank Cleaning Technique:
1. Make a 10% solution in freshwater in a slop (solution) tank.
2. Heat the solution to a maximum of 60 degree C.
3. Wash tanks by recirculation for 60 minutes.
4. Usually one solution is used for washing 3-6 tanks
5. Rinse with freshwater and check the results
6. For chloride-free cleaning and passing chloride test use chloride-free De-Ionised Water for the final rinse.
Recirculation Method Recirculation is . In this method a chemical solution is pumped via a closed loop through a mechanical tank washing machine.
The Recirculation Method is a highly effective and industry-recommended technique for cleaning tanks, pipelines, and other enclosed systems. This method involves continuously pumping the cleaning solution—such as a neutral pH or alkaline tank cleaner—through the system in a closed loop, ensuring thorough removal of contaminants, residues, oils, and deposits from all internal surfaces.
Recirculation ensures maximum contact time, uniform distribution, and minimal chemical wastage, making it ideal for cleaning chemical storage tanks, marine tanks, heat exchangers, and process vessels.
Key Benefits of the Recirculation Method:
-
Efficient & Uniform Cleaning of all internal surfaces
-
Reduces manual cleaning effort and downtime
-
Minimizes chemical consumption through reuse in the loop
-
Maintains controlled temperature and concentration for optimal performance
-
Suitable for large tanks, complex pipework, and hard-to-reach areas
Recommended for Use With:
-
Neutral pH Tank Cleaners for sensitive coatings
-
Alkaline/solvent-based degreasers for heavy-duty cleaning
-
Ideal for food-grade, pharmaceutical, chemical, and marine applications
