Product Short Description: MANGANESE II CHLORIDE AR TETRAHYDRATE Product Description: Manganese(II) chloride tetrahydrate is a hydrate that is the tetrahydrate form of manganese(II) chloride. It has a role as a nutraceutical and a MRI contrast agent. It is a hydrate, an inorganic chloride and a manganese coordination entity. Manganese 0.1 mg/mL (Manganese Chloride Injection, USP) is indicated for use as a supplement to intravenous solutions given for TPN. Administration helps to maintain manganese serum levels and to prevent depletion of endogenous stores and subsequent deficiency symptoms.
