Tetraethylene glycol is an industrial solvent especially useful in polyester resins. Also Tetraethlene glycol acts as a chemical intermediate and acts as a solvent for the manufacturing of inks and dyes.
Tetraethylene glycol is used as a solvent to dissolve water-insoluble compounds. It is employed as a nitrocellulose solvent, a plasticizer, a natural gas desiccant, a hydraulic fluid and in lacquers and coatings. Dosage

Tetra Ethylene Glycol Solubility
Miscible with water, ethanol, acetone, acetic acid, glycerin, pyridine, aldehydes, carbon tetrachloride and diethyl ether.
Immiscible with oil, benzene, toluene, fat and aliphatic hydrocarbons.

Notes

Tetra (ethylene glycol) (TEG) is a transparent, colorless, odorless, low volatility GLYCOL.

Precaution: Tetraethylene Glycol is Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and strong bases.
