SMF Sulfonated Melamine Formaldehyde is a chemical compound used to produce strong plastic properties in CEMENT. 

Applications

SMF Sulfonated Melamine Formaldehyde used as High Range Water Reducing Concrete Super Plasticizer. A highly effective free-flowing spray dried powder of a sulphonated polycondensation product based on melamine for cement and calcium sulphate based materials for  the  production  of  free flowing  concrete  in  hot  weather and as a substantial  water  reducing agent for achieving high ultimate strength i.e. high initial and final compressive strengths. RXSOL MMT-97 has been primarily developed for applications in concrete industries where the highest durability and performance is required. RXSOL MMT 97 is compatible with all Portland cements that meet recognized international standards.

SMF Sulfonated Melamine Formaldehyde is a chemical that has many industrial uses. In the United States, it is approved for use in the manufacturing of some cooking utensils, plates, plastic products, paper, paperboard, and industrial coatings, among other things.

SMF Sulfonated Melamine Formaldehyde its meaning can be understand like : A plastic fiber which is totally melamine based" commonly used on paver blocks and on different kinds of tiles. Basically it is used for giving shine, durability, strength and gives early settings also. It also has some beneficial features like water reducing property etc. It gives a durability and wide finish to concrete products.
 
This product is available in the form of powder as well as liquid. It is basically a high range water reducer and superplasticiser for the concrete. It is also having high performance for the concrete admixture, it gives early settings and surface hardens to concrete mixture. It also reduces water and also gives rapid strength.
 
The liquid Sulfonate Melamine Formaldehyde is best for various poles, different kind of bricks, pipes, tiles and paver blocks.
 
Powder SMF is beneficial for grouts, drymix mortars, grouts and tiles.
