Overview

It is a Low /Medium Molecular weight sodium Polyacrylate Copolymer used to Reduce Fluid loss in Fresh water and Sea Water mud systems

Product description

Sodium Polyacrylate 40% solution  is a Low /Medium Molecular weight sodium Polyacrylate Copolymer used to Reduce Fluid loss in Fresh water and Sea Water mud systems. It is not subject to bacterial Degradation and can function in High temperature environments.

Sodium polyacrylate is water super-absorbent also popular as waterlock polymer, Sodium Acrylate polymer has the ability to absorb 100 to 1000 times its mass in water.
Fluid Loss Control Additive for Fresh water and Sea Water based Systems and also functions as a shale Stabilizer

Applications

Fluid Loss Control Additive for Fresh water and Sea Water based Systems and also functions as a shale Stabilizer
Sodium Polyacrylate Thinner  is a Low /Medium Molecular weight sodium Polyacrylate Copolymer used to Reduce Fluid loss in Fresh water and Sea Water mud systems. It is not subject to bacterial Degradation and can function in High temperature environments.

Where it is used

Sodium Polyacrylate we supply is a 40% solution and is mainly used in the construction industry and paint industry. In construction, it is used as a replacement in Sodium Naphthalene Formaldehyde. It is also used as an additive in PCE-based admixture formulation and to adjust pH in PCE manufacturing.

Dosage

Sodium polyacrylate is widely known as a polymer with the chemical formula (C3H3O2Na) n, Sodium Polyacrylate is a superabsorbent polymer (SAP). Sodium Acrylate  has remarkable powerfull water-absorbing properties, making it valuable in various applications, ranging from personal care products to industrial and environmental uses.

Also known as

ACCEPTA 4633

Remarks

What is Characteristic of Sodium Polyacrylate and  its Uses?
Chemical Structure and Properties:
Sodium polyacrylate is derived from acrylic acid, a monomer that undergoes polymerization to form the polymer chain. The polymerization process involves linking the acrylic acid monomers, creating a long chain structure with sodium ions (Na+) attached. The remaining polymer is a white, granular powder that can retain large quantities of water, forming a gel-like substance. The chemical structure of sodium polyacrylate gives it the ability to absorb water and aqueous solutions through a process known as osmosis. The sodium ions within the polymer interact with water molecules, causing it to swell and trap water within its structure.
