Product description

 TLC, the stationary phase is a thin adsorbent material layer, usually silica gel or aluminum oxide, 
coated onto an inert plate surface, typically glass, plastic, or aluminum. 

Applications

Silica gel can be used as a stationary phase in thin-layer chromatography to separate a mixture of non-volatile compounds using a single solvent or a mixture of solvents as mobile phase.
