Contact with skin

Remove contaminated clothing immediately and drench affected skin with plenty of water. Then wash with soap and water When in doubt or symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Contaminated clothing should be laundered before reuse 

Contact with eyes
 

If substance has got into eyes, immediately wash out with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Irrigate eyes thoroughly whilst lifting eyelids Seek. immediate medical attention. Continue flushing with water until medical help arrives. 

Ingestion

Never make an unconscious person vomit or drink fluids Give plenty of water to drink Do not induce vomiting Seek immediate medical attention 

Inhalation

Remove patient to fresh air Keep warm and at rest, in a half upright position. Loosen clothing. When in doubt or symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

General

In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible) (S45).

-  Non combustible.
-  Smoke from fires is corrosive, Hydrogen chloride may be formed.
-  Not flammable. In case of fire use extinguishing media appropriate to surrounding conditions.
-  Substance evolves toxic fumes, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
-  Use water spray or fog to knock down and absorb corrosive fumes.

Wear protective clothing as per section 8 Vapours are heavier than air and may travel considerable distances to a source of ignition and flashback. 

Environmental Precautions

Do not allow to enter public sewers and watercourses.

Immediate Actions

Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination (S57).

Clean Up Actions

Absorb spillage in inert material and shovel up Ventilate the area and wash spill site after material pick-up is complete.

Handling

Avoid contact with skin and eyes (S24/25).Do not breathe vapour/fumes (S23).Eyewash bottles should be available.Wear protective clothing as per section 8.Ensure adequate ventilation.In use, may form flammable/explosive vapour-air mixture (R18).

Storage

Keep only in the original container in a cool, well ventilated place (S3/9/49). Keep in acid store.
