Product Description

Removal of Benzene and Eliminates Hydrogen Sulphide and Pyrophoric Iron.

RXSOL Tank Eliminator Plus is a high-performance biodegradable decontamination chemical designed for removal of benzene, butadiene, hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), and pyrophoric iron from refinery vessels, tanks, pipelines, and process equipment.

The product contains a proprietary blend of surfactants, vapor-phase scavengers, iron stabilizers, and hydrocarbon encapsulation agents that rapidly neutralize hazardous contaminants present in process systems.

RXSOL Tank Eliminator Plus is suitable for both liquid circulation and vapor-phase decontamination applications, enabling efficient cleaning and gas neutralization during refinery maintenance, tank entry preparation, and turnaround operations.

The formulation is designed to be compatible with wastewater treatment systems and environmentally acceptable disposal practices.

Hydrogen sulfide scavenging chemistries commonly used in such systems react with H₂S to form stable compounds or salts that prevent the gas from re-entering the atmosphere

Product Short Description

Tank Eliminiator Plus is a biodegradable one step decontamination chemical that reduces benzene and butadiene vapors while eliminating hydrogen sulfide and stabilizing pyrophoric iron in tanks vessels and pipelines.

Product Application

Where to use RXSOL Tank Eliminator Decontaminator Plus
  • Crude oil storage tanks
  • Refinery process vessels
  • Sour crude tanks
  • Heat exchangers and separators
  • Pipelines and transfer lines
  • Process columns
  • Ship cargo tanks and bunker tanks
  • Sludge tanks and hydrocarbon storage vessels

RXSOL Tank Eliminator Plus is commonly used in refinery tank cleaning where benzene and H₂S contamination must be eliminated before maintenance operations begin.

Product Dose

Best way to Decontaminate Tank Odor :

Liquid Phase Circulation Cleaning

  • 0.5 - 3% solution of RXSOL Tank Eliminator Plus in water depending on contamination.

Vapor Phase Treatment

  • Spray or fogging solution at 1–2% concentration.

Heavy Contamination

  • Up to 5% solution may be required.

Typical Tank Cleaning

  • 3-5 liters per m³ of sludge or contaminated liquid.

NOTE: Dosage entirely depends on the contamination of odor in the tanks. Dosage can be increased or decreased.

Product Useful Area

Also works as BIOCIDE IN OILFIELD DRILLING.

How does RXSOL Tank Eliminator Decontaminator work?

1. Hydrocarbon Vapor Encapsulation

Special surfactants and vapor capture agents encapsulate aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and butadiene, reducing vapor concentrations.

2. Hydrogen Sulfide Scavenging

Chemical scavengers react with H₂S gas forming stable non-volatile compounds that remain dissolved in the liquid phase.

Typical H₂S scavenger reactions include:

H₂S + scavenger → stable sulfide compound

This prevents H₂S from being released into the atmosphere.

3. Pyrophoric Iron Stabilization

Pyrophoric iron sulfide deposits are oxidized or stabilized to prevent spontaneous ignition during tank entry.

4. Sludge Dispersal

Surfactants disperse hydrocarbon sludge allowing circulation and removal.
