Disinfectant Sterilizer for Reverse Osmosis Membrane is a peroxy acid solution developed for use on reverse osmosis (RO) membranes and their associated distribution systems. Peroxy acid formulations are currently being used in a wide variety of applications.

Disinfectant Sterilizer for Reverse Osmosis Membrane protects Reverse Osmosis membranes and their associated distribution systems against short- and long-term bacterial problems. Disinfectant Sterilizer for Reverse Osmosis Membrane is a powerful oxidant that stops organism growth by oxidizing microbial cell proteins and enzyme systems and eff ectively removes biofilms. Elimination of bacterial contaminati on will help improve product quality and contribute to increased RO membrane life.Disinfectant Sterilizer for Reverse Osmosis Membrane may eliminate the need for acid cleaning of fouled membranes prior to disinfecti on in cases where transiti on metals, such as iron, are not present.
 
Biodegradable and Ease of Disposal:
Disinfectant Sterilizer for Reverse Osmosis Membrane is biodegradable and will decompose into oxygen, water and aceti c acid. It poses no threat to municipal waste treatment plants. 
 
Compatible with Thin Film Composite Membranes:
Disinfectant Sterilizer for Reverse Osmosis Membrane gently and completely cleans membranes. Disinfectant Sterilizer for Reverse Osmosis Membrane formulati ons have been successfully used at hundreds of locations on thin film composite membranes and cellulose acetate membranes. Many of the applications have included extended soak times. Disinfectant Sterilizer for Reverse Osmosis Membrane will disinfect membranes and protect against decreased flux that is commonly associated with the use of formaldehyde.
