Manganese(II) acetate tetrahydrate, Mn(CH3COO)2·4H2O (CAS 6156-78-1), is a pale pink crystalline solid that dissolves in water. This AR (analytical reagent) grade is meant for laboratory and research work.
It is used as a manganese source in the lab, as a catalyst and catalyst precursor (for example in oxidation reactions and PET production), and as a starting material for other manganese compounds.

Manganese(II) Acetate Tetrahydrate is a moderately water soluble crystalline Manganese source that decomposes to Manganese oxide on heating.
