Product Description:

Filter Cleaner RXSOL is a heavy duty liquid blend of organic compounds with concentrated emulsifying agents. RXSOL-16-1046-020  is a liquid blend of organic solvent with heavy duty & concentrated emulsifying agents . An extremely effective for removal of burnt grease , carbon deposit , oily residues and lacquers found in fuel oil and lube oil purifiers and filters etc.

Product Application:

It is effectively removes tenacious carbon deposits, burnt grease, Oily residues and lacquers from Disc / Disc stacks of centrifugal separators , Extremely effective for removal of found in fuel oil and lube oil purifiers, filters, separators.

Product Dose:

Should be diluted ,at the rate of 1-parts RXSOL-16-1046-020  to 5-parts water,( Or 1:1 ratio of any solvent like diesel ) before use or depend on nature of dirt / contamination  RXSOL-16-1046-020  may be used directly. At 50 to 60°C for best result apply higher concentration for 15 min. to  3 hours.After the unit or parts have been satisfactorily cleaned, they should be rinsed thoroughly with fresh water. It is recommended that this product is not used on soft metal, Zinc,Tin, Galvanized surfaces or Anodized Aluminium.
 

Recirculation  and  heating will improves the cleaning action.

Product Note:

Mechanical cleaning  (Scrubbing and Brushing ) damages the discs which results in poor performance

HOW TO USE Filter CLEANER?
 
Cleaning a reusable lube oil filter is essential for maintaining optimal engine performance and prolonging the lifespan of your equipment. Here's a step-by-step guide to effectively clean your lube oil filter:​
 
 
1. Preparation:
 
Safety First: Ensure the engine is off and has cooled down to prevent burns.​
Gather Supplies: You'll need an appropriate cleaning agent (such as aerosol brake cleaner, solvent, or a degreasing agent), a soft-bristle brush, compressed air (if available), and protective gloves.​

2. Removal of the Oil Filter:
 
Drain Oil: Place a drain pan beneath the oil filter to catch any residual oil.​

Remove Filter: Carefully unscrew the oil filter from its housing.​
 
3. Initial Inspection:
 
Examine Filter: Inspect the filter element and housing for debris. Since oil typically flows from the outside to the inside of the filter, debris will be caught on the outside of the filter element.​
Analyze Debris: For a closer inspection, flush the particles into a clean, light-colored container. Monitoring the debris can provide insights into engine health.​
 
4. Cleaning the Filter Element:
 
Apply Cleaner: Spray the cleaning agent onto both sides of the filter element, focusing on the dirty side.​
 
Soak: Allow the cleaner to penetrate for about 10 minutes to loosen contaminants.​
 
Rinse: Rinse the filter with low-pressure water from the clean side out to flush out debris.​
 
Brush: For stubborn debris, gently use a soft-bristle brush to dislodge particles from the filter surface.​
 
5. Drying the Filter:
 
Air Dry: Shake off excess water and allow the filter to air dry naturally.​
Compressed Air: If available, use compressed air to blow through the filter starting from the inside out, ensuring all moisture and remaining particles are removed.​

6. Reinstallation:
 
Inspect Mounting Area: Before reinstalling, wipe the filter mounting area to ensure it's clean and free from debris.​

Lubricate Gasket: Apply a thin layer of clean oil to the filter's gasket to ensure a proper seal.​
Reinstall Filter: Screw the filter back into place, ensuring it's securely tightened.​

7. Post-Cleaning Steps:
 
Refill Oil: Replace any lost oil to maintain the correct oil level.​

Check for Leaks: After running the engine for a few minutes, inspect the filter area for any signs of oil leaks.​
Regularly cleaning your reusable oil filter ensures efficient filtration and contributes to the longevity of your engine. Always consult your equipment's manual for specific instructions related to your model.​
