Overview

Anthracite coal-like is a hard, very low content of volatile compact variety of coal that has a high luster. It has the highest carbon content (between 92.1 and 98 percent, the fewest impurities, and the highest calorific content of all types of coal, which also includes bituminous coal and lignite.

Applications

We are very famous for anthracite coal produce, we use the high quality anthracite coal and tar to process pellet activated carbon, our pellet activated carbon, with well-developed porosity, large surface area, strong adsorption, high mechanical strength, easy to repeated regeneration, and low cost. 

Dosage

Anthracite is used extensively in water filtration and in water treatment because of its excellent filtration properties. Anthracite is used along with silica sand (dual media system) or with silica sand.

Notes

Anthracite is the most metamorphosed type of coal, wherein the carbon content ranges from 92.1% to 98%. The term is applied to those varieties of coal which do not give off tarry or other hydrocarbon vapours when heated below their point of ignition. Anthracite ignites with difficulty and burns with a short, blue, and smokeless flame. Anthracite is categorized into standard grade, which is used mainly in power generation. High Grade (HG) and Ultra High Grade (UHG), the principal uses of which are in the metallurgy sector.
