Product Description:
RXSOL pH Buffer with Corrosion Inhibitor  is a specially formulated Corrosion Inhibitor for Glycol additives designed to prevent corrosion in multi ways. It treats the surfaces of the metal making them less susceptible to corrosion. It buffers the organic acids formed as a result of glycol oxidation. Inhibited glycol based heat transfer fluids provides corrosion protection without reducing system's heat transfer efficiency.
Product Application:

While high quality glycol solution may last for years, improper maintenance or chemical contaminants will significantly shorten fluid life. Rxsol pH Buffer with Corrosion Inhibitor  serves as a good barometer for the condition of the glycol and is best measured with a field pH meter. Although Rxsol pH Buffer with Corrosion Inhibitor is primarily used as a function of the pH Corrector and secondry as a corrosion inhibitor.  And therefore, will vary from product to product, a few rules of thumb will be helpful in determining what constitutes proper pH. Most concentrated inhibited glycols have a pH in the 9.0 to 10.5 range.When diluted in a 30% to 50% solution, the pH falls to between 8.0 to 9.0.A pH reading below 8.0 indicates that a significant portion of the inhibitor has been depleted and that more inhibitor needs to be added. When a pH reading of the mixture falls below 6.0, it is recommended to replace the fluid. A pH value of less than 6.0 indicates that oxidation of the glycol has occured. The system should be drained & flushed before several system damage occurs. The Rxsol pH Buffer with Corrosion Inhibitor maintaine the pH level of Glycol and as a pH booster with corrosion inhibitor.

CB24 / AT-2324 should be dosed in relation to dissolved oxygen and hardness content of the feedwater and to maintain a reserve of approximately 50-1 00ppm of sulphite in the boiler.
 
It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.

The RXSOL pH Buffer with Corrosion Inhibitor  should be dosed in relation to current pH value. Mostly 1 Ltr  is suitableto 200 -300 Ltr Gltcol. Rxsol pH Buffer with Corrosion Inhibitor dosed  for dissolved oxygen and hardness content of the feedwater and to maintain a reserve of approximately 0.2% in the glycol solution. It is always advisable to carry out a ‘Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health’ (COSHH) assessment before use.

Product Note:
Glycol oxidizes when exposed to air and heat. When this occurs, organic acids are formed. If not properly inhibited, this fluid is very corrosive.Rxsol pH Buffer with Corrosion Inhibitor is added to Glycol to act as buffers, preventing low pH attack on the system metals. RXSOL pH Buffer with Corrosion Inhibitor  also passivates the metal surfaces protecting them from corrosion.
