Product Description

RXSOL Bio Fresh Deodorizer Disinfectant Knockout is a chlorine-dioxide based, ready-to-use antimicrobial treatment formulated to provide effective bacteriostatic, fungistatic and deodorising performance in indoor air quality applications. It is specifically designed to control the growth of bacteria, mould, mildew, fungi and yeast in HVACR systems and associated air-handling components. The product can be used on ventilating equipment, including evaporator and cooling coils, condensate drain pans, air filters and ductwork.

Product Short Description

Ready to use chlorine dioxide based antimicrobial deodoriser for HVAC systems, controlling bacteria, mould, mildew and odours on coils, drain pans, filters and ductwork.

Product Application

Air-conditioning and ventilation systems-particularly evaporator coils, condensate pans, filters and ducting-create warm, damp environments that promote the rapid development of microbial contamination. If left untreated, these microorganisms can multiply, generate unpleasant odours and contribute to poor indoor air quality, which is a growing concern in commercial and residential buildings.

Product Dose

RXSOL Bio Fresh Deodorizer Disinfectant Knockout is intended for use only by trained HVACR professionals and must be applied strictly in accordance with the instructions given below.
 
Residential odour control (odours caused by bacteria, mould, mildew, pets, smoke, etc.)
Apply RXSOL Bio Fresh Deodorizer Disinfectant Knockout directly to the source of the odour by spraying thoroughly, or lightly mist the surrounding air by operating the trigger several times. In cases of persistent or strong odours, additional applications may be required.
 
Deodorisation of HVAC ductwork
With the system fan operating, fog or spray RXSOL Bio Fresh Deodorizer Disinfectant Knockout into the return or intake vents. Apply sufficient product to allow effective contact with the internal duct surfaces. Reapply as needed. Refer to the Bio-Fresh fogging equipment instructions for detailed operating guidance.
 
Microbial control on evaporator coils, drain pans and related air-conditioning components
Before treatment, all components must be manually cleaned using an appropriate coil or drain-pan cleaning agent. Once cleaning is complete, apply RXSOL Bio Fresh Deodorizer Disinfectant Knockout generously to the treated surfaces. Do not rinse or wipe after application. Allow the surfaces to dry naturally.
