RXSOL ACC9 Air Cooler Chemical
RXSOL ACC9 Air Cooler Chemical is a concentrated, solvent-based, water-soluble emulsion cleaner specially developed for cleaning diesel-engine air coolers, scavenging-air systems, turbochargers and other oil- and grease-contaminated cooling components.
During engine operation, air-cooler fins and tubes can accumulate oil, grease, dust and carbonaceous deposits. Such fouling can restrict airflow and reduce the efficiency of the cooling system. RXSOL ACC9 penetrates and emulsifies these deposits, helping loosen contamination for easier removal by water rinsing. The formulation includes corrosion-inhibiting components intended to help protect compatible soft-metal surfaces during cleaning. (RxSol Group)

Cleaning Methods
Immersion / Soak Cleaning
For dismantled cooler components, the contaminated parts can be immersed in the prepared cleaning solution. The reference procedure indicates that cleaning can benefit from temperatures up to approximately 50°C, followed by thorough freshwater rinsing and drying. (Mumbai Chemical)
Circulation Cleaning
Where the cooler design permits in-situ circulation, the cleaning solution can be circulated through the system. The referenced procedure indicates approximately 2–4 hours of circulation at temperatures up to 50°C, depending on contamination and system conditions. After cleaning, flush thoroughly with fresh water and dry appropriately. (Mumbai Chemical)
Hand-Spray Cleaning
For suitable cooler coils, the concentrated cleaner can be applied to contaminated surfaces to allow penetration and emulsification. The referenced procedure specifies a minimum contact period of approximately 1 hour, followed by high-pressure freshwater rinsing. For engine applications, the engine must be stopped during this procedure. (Mumbai Chemical)
Recommended Dilution
For general cleaning, the published RXSOL information gives a typical dilution range of approximately 10–25% with fresh water, depending on contamination.
For diesel-engine air coolers, the reference also provides cleaning-solution quantities based on engine horsepower:

Why Use RXSOL ACC9?
Air-cooler fouling can reduce the effectiveness of heat exchange and airflow. RXSOL ACC9 provides a chemical cleaning approach that penetrates and emulsifies oily contamination, helping remove deposits without relying solely on mechanical scraping or rubbing.
It is particularly suited to marine engine-room maintenance, shipboard air-cooler cleaning and industrial engine cooling-system maintenance.
