Silicone Fluid Emulsion 40 RXSOL is a 40% emulsion of medium viscosity polydimethylsiloxane, using a nonionic surfactant system. It has been designed for use in many applications including automotive care, polishes, industrial release and textile lubricants. Silicone Fluid Emulsion 40 is designed to allow formulators to prepare a range of different strength products, from a single feedstock, to exact customer requirements, by simply mixing with water in the appropriate ratio. Stable emulsions down to 15% solids are easily prepared to order, using standard paddle or propeller stirrers.
Provides finish & improves water repellency for leather, vinyl & foam upholstery.
Gives excellent dry soft handle to the fabric.

Using procedure
Wipe, brush or spray the emulsion, usually diluted. Recommended starting concentration is 2 % to 5 %. (Total solids of Mould Release Agent by water). The user is recommended to determine the best conditions of dilution and application on a test sample before using in production. Breaking in the surface of new or freshly cleaned molds is best done by applying a light coat of undiluted release agent and running the empty mold through one or two heat cycles. After excess residual base fluid is wiped from the surface, the mold is ready for use.

Product Life and Storage: This product may be stored up to six months in a sealed container. Containers should be stored in a cool, dry area. Extended storage at elevated temperatures or exposure to direct heat or sunlight could reduce product life. Keep containers sealed when not in use.

Silicone Fluid Emulsion 40 RXSOL is recommended as a mould releasing agent in rubber industries. It can be used as universal release agent in rubber processing. Furthermore, the emulsion is suitable best for the formulation of paint and vinyl conditioners. The active agent contained supports an easy polishing of the conditioner formulations and improves the brightness. It is a specially modified emulsion of poly dimethyl siloxane to give dry, crispy feel to the fabrics especially to synthetics.
