Storage: Store in the original packaging or in specially appropriate containers, protected from heat sources. 

Concentrated, this product may be diluted with up to 200 parts water for greatest economy.   This product may be used for degreasing and contains corrosion protection.   Rust preventatives form a corrosion inhibiting coating when diluted cleaner is not rinsed from metal surfaces.

Dual Power concentrate is a safe alternative to hazardous cleaners of the past.  This cleaner gives you something that ordinary cleaners can't offer-  Dual cleaning surfactants.  This cleaner leaves a pleasant, fresh scent that your customers are sure to notice and appreciate.

Oxidizing agent, causes severe burns. May cause fire. Harmful by Inhalation, in contact with skin and if swallowed.

Ship Hold Cleaning Applications

RXSOL-22-3030-050 can be considered for cleaning:

• Cargo holds

• Hatch covers

• Hold bulkheads

• Deck areas

• Tanker and bulk-carrier related surfaces, where compatible

• Shipboard machinery and equipment exteriors

• Other suitable hard surfaces

It can be particularly useful as part of a cleaning program following cargo discharge, helping remove residual contamination before inspection or loading the next cargo.

Types of Contamination

The alkaline detergent action is intended to help loosen and remove:

• Oil and grease

• General cargo residues

• Dirt and grime

• Organic deposits

• Oily films

• Surface contamination

The actual cleaning performance depends on the previous cargo, age of the residue, temperature, concentration, contact time and mechanical action.

Recommended Cleaning Approach

A typical ship-hold cleaning operation may involve:

1. Remove loose cargo residues and debris.

2. Prepare the RXSOL-22-3030-050 solution according to the current product instructions.

3. Apply by suitable spray, foam, brush or washing equipment as applicable.

4. Allow adequate contact time.

5. Agitate heavily contaminated areas where required.

6. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water or suitable rinse water.

7. Inspect the hold and repeat cleaning where necessary.

8. Complete final rinsing and drying according to the vessel's cargo requirements.

Dosage and dilution should be based on the current RXSOL TDS and the specific previous-cargo contamination.

Previous Cargo Consideration

The correct hold-cleaning chemical depends strongly on the previous cargo.

For example, cleaning requirements can differ significantly for:

• Vegetable oils

• Animal oils and fats

• Petroleum products

• Coal

• Carbon black

• Soot

• Cement

• Fertilizer residues

• Chemical cargoes

• General bulk cargo

For difficult or specialized residues, a dedicated RXSOL cargo-specific cleaner may provide a more appropriate cleaning solution.
